and requirementsAnalysing project documentation including drawings, specifications, and contract conditions to identify risks and cost driversManaging contract administration activities including contract review, variations management, and claims administrationMaintaining and updating cost databases and historical project information to improve future estimation accuracyNegotiating commercial terms with clients, consultants, and suppliers to protect company interestsPreparing progress reports and providing commercial advice to project managers and senior managementIdentifying and evaluating tendering opportunities aligned with company capabilities and strategic objectivesContributing to continuous improvement of estimation processes and contract management proceduresWhat we're looking forMinimum 5 years' experience in estimation, tendering, and contracts management within the civil construction industryProven expertise in preparing detailed cost estimates using industry-standard software and methodologiesStrong knowledge of civil construction techniques, materials, and plant requirementsExcellent understanding of contract law, commercial terms,



and risk management principlesProficiency in relevant software systems including estimating tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and ideally construction management softwareExceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlinesStrong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationshipsTertiary qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or related discipline (preferred)Professional certification such as AIQS or similar (desirable)What we offerAt Brisbane Water Bitumen, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional development of our team.
