Our client is a $40m+ business supplying major organisations across Australia and New Zealand.The roleReporting to senior leadership, you will own the numbers.
You will run a fast, clean month-end close across multiple entities, lead treasury and FX, and give the leadership team the cash visibility they need to grow.You will also be the finance lead on a move to a single NetSuite platform, with a real hand in designing the chart of accounts, intercompany and controls.What you'll doOwn the month-end close across a multi-entity AU/NZ group, including intercompany and consolidationDeliver monthly management accounts with clear commentaryBuild weekly cash reporting and a rolling 90-day cash forecastManage banking, trade finance and FX contractsApprove payments and own the control framework, including fraud controlsOwn BAS, GST, PAYG, super, payroll tax and EOFY,
working with external accountants and auditorsLead and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable OfficersAbout youCA or CPA qualified3+ years as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager in an SME (around $20m–$100m turnover)Strong hands-on NetSuite experience, ideally multi-subsidiaryMulti-entity close, intercompany and consolidation experienceTreasury experience, including trade finance, foreign currency payments and FXA leader who sets high standards and holds a control under pressureWholesale, distribution or imported inventory experience is a robust plusWhat's on offerA senior role working closely with the executive teamThe chance to help build a finance function and systems the right wayFree on-site parking at the Brisbane head office
