About the role
A1 Facade & Interiors Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based construction company specialising in commercial fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects.
We have extensive experience across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, hospitality and workplace environments, and we are committed to high-quality construction with a strong focus on workmanship, safety and project efficiency.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Carpenter to join our growing team and support our ongoing construction and refurbishment projects across Sydney.
You'll carry out carpentry work across commercial fit-out, refurbishment and construction projects, including timber framing, wall partitions, installation of doors and timber fixtures, interior finishing, and supporting structures for facade and cladding systems, while meeting building standards and safety requirements.
This is a full-time role based in Prestons, NSW, with a salary of $90,000 – $100,000 per year plus superannuation.
What you'll do
Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specifications to determine carpentry requirements
Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other building materials using hand and power tools
Construct and install timber frameworks, wall partitions,



ceiling structures and supporting frames
Carry out carpentry work for commercial fit-out, refurbishment and interior construction projects
Install doors, door frames, skirting boards, architraves, cabinetry and other timber fixtures
Construct and install framing and support structures for facade and cladding works
Carry out repairs, alterations and finishing carpentry work on existing structures
Make sure all carpentry work complies with relevant building standards, project specifications and workplace safety requirements
Coordinate with site supervisors and other tradespeople so projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
About you
Relevant qualification in Carpentry
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Carpenter
Experience in commercial fit-out, refurbishment or general construction carpentry
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Competency in using carpentry hand tools, power tools and equipment
Valuable understanding of construction methods and workplace safety requirements
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
