About the role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Cook to join our growing kitchen team.
As a Cook, you will play an important role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our food.
This is a permanent, full-time position and a great opportunity to develop your culinary skills and grow within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
What you'll do
Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in line with menu specifications
Assist with daily food preparation and mise en place
Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation standards
Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and inventory management
Keep your work area clean, organised and productive
Comply with all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and kitchen team to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Assist with receiving and storing food supplies in line with food safety standards
About you




Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent qualification
At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Strong communication, teamwork and time management skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
Pay and benefits
The salary is $80,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation.
