Senior / Associate Hydraulics Engineer
An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior / Associate Hydraulics Engineer to support its growing project portfolio across a range of building and infrastructure projects.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced hydraulic engineer looking to take ownership of design and project delivery, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake concept and detailed hydraulic services design.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, reports, and construction documentation.
Support project planning, coordination, and delivery.
Conduct site inspections and building surveys.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Attend project meetings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Requirements




5-10 years of relevant hydraulic engineering experience.
Degree or diploma in Hydraulic Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, particularly AS ****.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Solid technical, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality engineering outcomes.
Previous experience in project leadership or mentoring is advantageous.
You must have working rights in Australia.
