Jamaica Blue Innaloo is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Cooks to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.

Based in Innaloo, WA ****, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen setting, preparing quality meals and maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Ensuring all food is prepared in a hygienic and timely manner to meet customer expectations
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and health regulations
Following portion control guidelines and plating standards to ensure consistency across all dishes
Collaborating with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service
Monitoring stock levels and communicating with management regarding ingredient requirementsOperating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, fryers, ovens and other cooking appliances
Responding to special dietary requirements and requests from customers where possible
Contributing to the overall efficiency and positive atmosphere of the kitchen team
What we're looking for
Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment, preferably in hospitality or food service
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and kitchen safety standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of food quality




Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food hygiene and presentation
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction from senior kitchen staff
Physical fitness and stamina to manage the demands of a fast-paced kitchen
Flexibility to work casual shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
Food Safety certification or willingness to obtain it
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous
