IGT (International Game Technology) – Erskine Park NSWOur Australia HQ is in Sydney, but we have a team of Field Services Technicians based in NSW, VIC, QLD and SA for our customers.
Currently, we are on the lookout for a dedicated and committed Field Service Technician to join our close-knit team in Sydney metro.
In this role, you will work with a team of other Field Service Technicians and external contractors to triage service requests.
These range from product installation, service maintenance and ensuring optimal performance of our Cash Redemption Terminal (CRT) machines.
It fits someone with a passion for fixing and repairing machinery - getting to the root cause, solving the problem and making it right.About the roleProvides timely technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of system equipment for assigned region.
Serves as customer contact on technical and service-related issues.
Determines and defines daily objectives for site specific product installations, maintenance, and customer support.Key responsibilitiesPerforms advanced troubleshooting to identify, resolve, and provide root cause analysis on equipmentDiagnoses mechanical, hardware, software,



and systems failures using established proceduresPerforms preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by managementPerforms site surveys on all new ordersMaintains accurate inventory and accounting of all parts used at customer locationsResponsible for completing all required reporting and paperwork in a timely mannerActively supports other Field Service Technicians as neededPerforms other related duties as assignedAbout youA valid Driver's Licence is an inherent requirement of the role as work is performed onsite at client's premisesWillingness to obtain necessary licence as required (the company will assist with application)At least 3 years field service experience including the handling of technical queries from the fieldAvailable to travel local (metropolitan Sydney), regional and sometimes interstateGood understanding of electro-mechanical systems and computing environmentsProfessional presentation - appearance and communication skillsExperience with hand and power tools, or experience in a similar roleAbility to follow Work Health and Safety standards, protocols and guidelinesPrevious ATM or gaming industry experience is an advantageAbout usAt IGT, our greatest competitive advantage is our people.
