Transport Refrigeration Services (TRS) is a recognised leader in the provision of transport refrigeration equipment, tail-lifts and truck bodies — delivering prompt, reliable and client-focused service and support across Australia.TRS is the authorised South Australian agent for Thermo King and Anteo products, operating from its SA branch at Wingfield.We are growing our South Australian team and are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Assistant to join us at our Wingfield branch.About the RoleThis is a hands-on, customer-facing role at the heart of our SA operations.
You'll be responsible for accurate parts interpretation and supply utilising technical knowledge and resources to provide precise parts interpretation, ensuring the efficient, timely supply and distribution of stock.
Reporting to the parts manager you will also collaborate closely with the Service Manager, Service Advisor and Technicians to ensure parts availability for current and upcoming service jobs, while also assisting with counter and phone enquiries from trade and retail customers.What You'll Be DoingHandling incoming phone, email and counter enquiries professionally and promptlyUsing electronic parts catalogues (EPCs), diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately interpret partsLiaising with the Service Manager and Technicians to ensure workshop parts are ready on timePicking,



dispatching, receipting and putting away stock maintaining inventory accuracy in the ERP systemOrdering parts from our Sydney DC and local suppliers, including collections when requiredIdentifying upselling and parts sales opportunities to support branch growth targetsWhat We're Looking ForA customer-focused approach with demonstrated ability to build professional relationshipsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh attention to detail in data entry, part numbering and stock managementBasic mechanical aptitude or understanding of machinery/vehicle componentsValid driver's licenceExperience with an ERP system, MYOB Accumatica highly regardedWhat's in It for You?
