About The Role
The Language Assistant will work alongside teachers both in junior (years 7-10) and senior (years 11 and 12) classes as requested and directed by the Head of Language Acquisition.
The incumbent will be expected to assist with small-group conversation practice, preparation of resource materials, including creating 'exemplar' samples of written and spoken work, and other activities aimed at developing students' fluency in the language.
About You
Fluency in the French and English languagesSpanish Language Fluency is desirableThe ability to work collaboratively with colleaguesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with students, parents and teaching professionalsStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary teamExcellent administrative and organisational skills that will assist with students learningAptitude for learning new IT systems such as those used at the school.




Appropriate qualificationsA valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People CardA current National Police CheckFull working rights within Australia.
