award-winning consultancy with more than 30 years behind itClear opportunities to grow your responsibilities and influence as the team developsThe Role This is an chance for a Structural Engineer who enjoys the technical side of engineering but is ready for more ownership, autonomy and involvement in project decisions.You'll become a key member of the Bespoke Engineering team, working on projects that demand creativity, sound engineering judgement and practical solutions.From architecturally designed homes and complex renovations through to boutique multi-residential developments, you'll be involved from the early design stages right through to construction.You'll have the freedom to manage your projects, build relationships with architects and builders, and contribute to how the team operates and grows.Your responsibilities will include:Hands-on structural design across reinforced concrete, structural steel and timberDesign of suspended concrete slabs, with post-tensioned concrete experience highly regardedTaking ownership of projects from initial concept and design through to construction and completionDeveloping practical engineering solutions for complex architectural designs,



renovations and structural alterationsWorking directly with architects, builders, clients and other consultantsProviding construction-stage advice, undertaking site inspections and resolving technical challengesReviewing structural designs, calculations and documentationContributing to project delivery, commercial outcomes and client relationshipsSupporting junior engineers and sharing technical knowledgeHelping shape the processes, standards and future direction of the Bespoke Engineering teamAbout YouTechnical capability matters, but attitude, communication and the way you approach your work matter just as much.You'll be an experienced Structural Engineer with strong hands-on design capability across steel and concrete, including suspended slabs and ideally PT concrete.You'll also bring:Strong experience within building structuresPractical construction knowledge and sound engineering judgementConfidence dealing directly with architects, builders and clientsExperience with suspended concrete slabs, with PT design experience advantageousA commercial mindset and ownership of project outcomesExperience across bespoke residential, complex renovations or boutique multi-residential would be highly regardedExisting relationships within the architectural community would be advantageousRPEQ registration is highly regarded, however there is flexibility depending on your broader experience, capability and fit.NextIf you're looking for more ownership, technical autonomy and the opportunity to help shape a growing team, we'd like to hear from you.
