About the RoleChahal Motors is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our skilled workshop team in Dandenong.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of vehicles.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive repairs and maintenance on all makes and models in strictAccordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.Perform scheduled maintenance servicing efficiently and to a high standard.Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.Complete all repair orders accurately within allocated timeframes.Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety (WHS)



regulations.Liaise with service advisors and customers clearly and professionally regarding repair requirements.Required Qualifications and Skills:Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or an equivalent Australian-recognized qualification).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience as a trade-qualified Automotive Technician.Technical Expertise: Demonstrated strong diagnostic capabilities and extensive hands-on experience with varied makes and models.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Teamwork: A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet workshop targets.
