Junior Cardiology Veterinary Nurse – Part-TimeVeterinary Specialists of Sydney (VSOS) is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated Junior Veterinary Nurse to join our Cardiology team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is early in their veterinary nursing career and would love to gain hands‐on experience in a specialist environment.
You'll work alongside our experienced Cardiology Nurse and Cardiologist, helping keep the department running smoothly while learning about the fascinating world of veterinary cardiology.Key responsibilitiesAssisting with echocardiograms, including gentle patient handling and restraintPreparing and dispensing patient medications under veterinary directionSetting up and cleaning consultation and procedure areasAssisting our Cardiology Nurse and Cardiologist during consultationsHelping with patient preparation, monitoring and general nursing careKeeping the department clean, organised and well‐stockedProviding plenty of cuddles and TLC to our patientsAbout youHolds a Certificate II, III or IV in Animal Care/Veterinary Nursing,
or is currently studying towards a qualificationHas a genuine love for animals and providing excellent patient careIs friendly, positive, reliable and hardworkingEnjoys working as part of a teamHas great communication skills and a good sense of humourIs eager to learn and develop new skillsHas a gentle, confident approach to handling animalsAbout usAt VSOS, you'll be part of a supportive, fun and passionate team that genuinely loves what they do.
