North Queensland X-Ray Services Townsville is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Assistant to join our multi-modality group.The successful candidate will work as part of a team of skilled professionals within a stimulating environment as well as have the opportunity for ongoing career development and training.This is a full-time position.Duties include:Providing the highest level of care to patients as well as;Greeting and assisting patients to change into gowns and prepare for examinationsProviding support to Medical Imaging Clinical staffAssisting Radiologists with scans and interventional imaging proceduresAct as a Chaperone for clinical examinations as requiredMaintaining stock and cleanliness of the work area you are assigned toGeneral Administration and receptionExperience and skill set required:Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnelGood organisational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasksStrong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of the companyConfidentialityAbility to adapt and respond to changeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and to adequately anticipate the needs of patients, clinical staff and RadiologistsFamiliarity with current RIS/PACS systems desirableFormal qualifications such as a Certificate 3 Health Services Assistant or Certificate 3 Medical Practice Assisting highly desirable, but not essential.Remuneration is dependent on the candidate's level of experience.
