Sauls Bearings and Engineering - Burleigh Heads QLDA CNC LATHE AND MILL OPERATOR role at Saul's Bearings, Engineering & Machine Shop, where you will be machining by interpreting work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, specifications and machining parameters as required.Key responsibilitiesProgram and set up mills and lathes; setting tool registers, offsets, etc and calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometryMaintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operationsDetect malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls as requiredSharpen and replace worn tools; adhere to quality assurance procedures and processesMaintain protected operations and equipment by adhering to safety procedures, regulations and following manufacturer's specificationsPerform fault finding, diagnosis, design, assembly and manufacture on site as/when requiredParticipate in general laboring tasksAbide by all WHS and environmental policiesAdhere to stated policies and procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materialsAssist and support other staff as directed by managementAbout youHighly proficient with Mastercam software and CNC Fanuc controllers,
