We are currently seeking reliable and motivated "Delivery Drivers" to join our client's equipment hire business based in Alexandria.These are ongoing opportunities, with the potential to transition into a permanent position after 3 months.About the RolesYour primary responsibility will be delivering and collecting a wide range of hire equipment from customer sites.Equipment ranges from small tools through to small machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely drive a ute or small truck for deliveries and pickupsLoad and secure equipment on vehicles correctlyUnload equipment at customer sitesComplete delivery paperwork and documentationAssist in the workshop between deliveriesMaintain a strong focus on safety and customer serviceThe Ideal Candidates we are looking for;Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship or temporary visa holders)Current unrestricted driver's licence (Class C or higher)Able to drive manual vehiclesCurrent Construction White CardGood driving history (RMS driving record required for insurance purposes)Reliable work ethic and positive attitudeAbility to work in a physically active environmentWhat's on OfferOngoing full-time hoursMonday to Friday roster – 6:30am to 2:30pmCompetitive pay rate – $***** per hour + superWeekly pay cyclePPE providedTraining providedImmediate start availablePlease note this is an ongoing fulltime casual job with the prospect to go permanent after 3 months (permanent payrate is $32-$34 per hr + super + overtime)
