Sitting within Advance, the firm's NewLaw division, we place lawyers and professionals where they're needed most — whether our clients need to meet a surge in demand, cover leave, bridge a recruitment gap, or bring in specialist expertise.Your Experience and Expertise:You are an experienced commercial property lawyer, with a broad practice including acquisitions and divestments, development and leasingYou have experience in securing, negotiating and documenting property rights (eg. land acquisition, easements, potential compulsory acquisitions)You have experience dealing with landholders and titlesThe ability to provide timely, commercial legal advice on complex real estate matters including leasing, development, construction, property management and other asset-related issuesYou are experienced in managing and resolving legal issues, including engagement with tenants, contractors and other external stakeholdersYou have the ability to build and manage strong working relationships with senior executives and other key internal stakeholdersYou have the ability to work autonomously and prioritiseAttributes:Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem solvingStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAdaptable and resilient in a quick-paced environmentConfident managing multiple priorities and competing deadlinesStrong judgement and decision-making skillsResponsive, approachable and customer focusedConfidence dealing with senior internal stakeholders and external legal advisersAble to hit the ground running and quickly become an effective contributor within a high-performing legal teamAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a teamRequirements:A minimum of 5 years' experienceA current Australian practising certificateRight to live and work in AustraliaAbout ReachReach is the flexible legal resourcing platform of Ashurst Perkins Coie, a global law firm with more than 3,500 legal professionals across 52 offices.
