Metroll is seeking an experienced and organised Site Accounts Officer to join our Sunshine, Victoria team.
This is a varied, hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys managing the full accounts function, working closely with different teams and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of a busy branch.About The RoleReporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the branch's accounts payable and receivable functions, maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processes.
You'll work closely with the Branch Manager, Sales Team and Financial Controllers, while also providing regular support to our Internal Sales Team.Your responsibilities will include:Managing end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivableProcessing sales invoices, credit notes and banking transactionsCompleting month-end rollovers and ensuring financial reporting deadlines are metMaintaining petty cash and accurate financial recordsProcessing stock receipts and assisting with stocktakes and stock analysisUpdating work orders, sales orders and purchase ordersSupporting internal sales activities, including answering customer enquiries and entering sales ordersWorking closely with the wider team to ensure accurate and timely financial administrationThis is a dual-function role, with approximately 3-4 hours of internal sales support required twice per week to provide coverage when Sales Team members are visiting customers.About YouTo be successful in this role,



you will bring:Previous experience in an Accounts Officer or similar finance administration roleStrong experience across both accounts payable and accounts receivableExperience with month-end processing, reconciliations and financial reportingHigh attention to detail, accuracy and the ability to meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and a willingness to support the wider branch teamA proactive, organised and flexible approach to your workConfidence working with accounting systems, Microsoft Office and general administration processesA customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage competing prioritiesDesirableExperience in manufacturing, building products or a similar operational environmentExposure to inventory, stock receipting and purchase order processesPrevious internal sales or customer service experienceWhy Join Us?
