6 weeks* Hands-on role in a busy food manufacturing environmentOpportunity to build experience across production, packing and machine operationSupportive team with a strong focus on safety, quality and food standardsJob descriptionThe RoleWe are seeking reliable and safety-focused Rice Cake Operators to join a busy food manufacturing and production team in Leeton, NSW.Working within the food processing industry, you will be part of a fast-paced production environment supporting the manufacture, flavouring, packing and preparation of rice cake products.
This is a hands-on role where safety, product quality, hygiene and teamwork are essential.Operators will work across different areas of the rice cake production and packing process while following production schedules, operating procedures and food safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will support daily rice cake production by assisting with machinery, packing, product handling and quality checks.
The role requires consistent attention to food safety, packaging standards and safe work practices while helping the team achieve daily production targets.Operate and monitor production and packing machinerySupport rice cake production to meet daily targets and schedulesCollate finished products ready for packing and distributionComplete plain line packing of rice cake productsPack and handle flavoured products within the flavour roomComplete flow room packing and packaging dutiesInspect finished products to ensure required quality standards are metCheck wrapping, labelling and packaging for accuracy and qualityManually pack finished products onto pallets ready for wrapping and distributionMonitor products throughout the production and packing process and report quality issuesFollow food safety,
