forecasts and financial analyses to support client planning and decision-makingReview accounting and financial reporting processes and recommend improvements to internal controls and reporting proceduresInterpret taxation legislation, accounting requirements and regulatory obligations relevant to client circumstancesIdentify financial discrepancies, compliance issues and reporting risks and recommend appropriate corrective actionLiaise with clients, taxation authorities and other professional stakeholders regarding accounting, taxation and compliance mattersCandidate RequirementsBachelor's degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a closely related disciplineMinimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, financial reporting or a comparable professional accounting roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and financial reporting requirementsExperience preparing financial statements, taxation returns and statutory reportsAbility to analyse financial information and provide appropriate accounting recommendationsUnderstanding of BAS, GST and Australian taxation compliance requirementsProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and professional communication skillsOnly candidates currently residing in Australia will be shortlisted
