You'll be technically strong, take real ownership of your work and be ready to step up into a more senior, client-facing role.What you'll be doingPreparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals and investment entitiesManaging your own jobs from start to finish with limited supervisionWorking directly with clients, building relationships and becoming their go-to contactAdvising on Division 7A, trust distributions, CGT,



GST and BASWorking in Xero and other cloud accounting platformsSupporting partners on tax planning and structuring work as you growWhat you'll bringAround 3-6 years' Australian public practice experienceSolid experience with financial statements and tax returns across companies, trusts and individualsA robust grounding in Australian tax, including Division 7A, trust distributions, CGT, GST and BASConfidence with Xero and cloud accounting softwareComfort dealing directly with clients, plus strong communication skillsSharp attention to detail and a habit of owning your workCA/CPA qualified, or currently completing your studies (preferred)What we offerOne day off per month of additional leave, increasing to a 9-day fortnight on full pay on completion of probation.Hybrid work: two days in the office, three from homeSupport for your CA/CPA studies through financial assistanceA great CBD location on Pitt Street, a short walk from Wynyard and Martin Place train and metro stationsA friendly, social team with quarterly functions and a relaxed office atmosphereA clear path forward into a senior, client-facing rolePlease note:Candidates must reside in Australia and hold Australian citizenship to apply.
