ICT Workforce & Resource Management OfficerWe are recruiting for an experienced ICT Workforce & Resource Management Officer to support a major Federal Government client in Melbourne.This is not a traditional recruitment or PMO position.
The role sits within a central technology delivery function and is focused on coordinating the end-to-end workforce and resource lifecycle across a large and complex ICT portfolio.We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across technology talent acquisition, workforce planning, contractor management or technology resourcing, ideally within Government or another large-scale enterprise technology environment.
Australian citizens only.Overview:Working closely with technology leaders, procurement, internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will help coordinate ICT resource requirements from initial demand through engagement, onboarding, contract management and offboarding.Responsibilities:Coordinating workforce and resource requirements across a large ICT portfolioWorking with technology leaders to understand current and upcoming resourcing demandSupporting the engagement lifecycle for labour hire contractors and qualified services resourcesCoordinating resourcing activity associated with approaches to marketManaging contractor and consultant onboarding and offboardingTracking commencement dates, contract end dates, extensions and variationsCoordinating rate-related requests,
performance matters and other contractor queriesLiaising with recruitment agencies, consulting firms and technology suppliersMaintaining accurate workforce and contractor recordsSupporting workforce planning, capacity visibility and future resource demandAbout you:The strongest candidates are likely to have experience in one or more of the following:Technology talent acquisition or internal recruitmentICT workforce or resource managementContractor workforce managementTechnology consulting or professional services resourcingRecruitment agency technology practices followed by internal talent or workforce rolesYou will ideally offer:Experience managing or coordinating technology resources within a large organisationStrong understanding of contractor and consultant engagement lifecyclesExperience with onboarding, offboarding, contract extensions and contractor administrationExposure to workforce planning, demand forecasting, capacity planning or resource allocationExperience working with labour hire suppliers, consulting firms or technology vendorsStrong organisational and stakeholder management skillsA good understanding of technology roles and ICT delivery environmentsPrevious experience within Federal or State Government will be highly regardedExperience in PMO governance, project reporting or delivery coordination would be beneficialThis is an opportunity to join a central technology delivery function at a time of significant ICT investment and growing workforce demand.
