The roleOur client, a national law firm are seeking a full-time Paralegal to join their Restructuring, Recoveries & Disputes team.
Reporting to the Principal, you will work with a team of experienced Paralegals and your duties will include -Drafting correspondence with clients, debtors and third parties to progress the files (involves taking instructions, negotiating proposals with debtors)Drafting Notices, Demands, pleadings, drafting statements of claim, judgments, writs of possessionE-filing of court documentsAssisting with the general management and running of files to meet client service level requirementsRegular follow ups of security packets, process servers, court documents etc.Preparing discharge of mortgages and arranging settlement, as requiredPreparing files for evictionand general administration dutiesThe Law Firm and BenefitsOur client is a well-established, leading commercial national law firm with offices in Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
