Dorsett Gold Coast is looking for a Night Auditor to take the lead in our overnight operations and ensure our guests receive the highest level of service around the clock.

About the Role

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing overnight Front Office operations and ensuring the smooth running of the hotel throughout the night.

This role combines guest service, financial administration and overnight operational responsibilities, ensuring our guests receive a welcoming and seamless experience while all nightly audit and reporting requirements are completed accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Complete nightly audit procedures and reconcile daily revenue, payments and transactions.
- Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports.
- Ensure all Front Office transactions are balanced and systems are accurately rolled over.
- Manage overnight guest check-ins, check-outs and enquiries.
- Respond professionally to guest requests, concerns and emergencies.
- Monitor hotel public areas and maintain security throughout the night.
- Ensure a thorough handover to the morning shift team.




- Maintain accurate guest profiles and respond to guest feedback through hotel systems and online platforms.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Night Auditor, Guest Service Agent or similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel.
- Experience with hotel Property Management Systems, preferably Opera.
- An understanding of night audit procedures and financial reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
- A professional and guest-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
