The Role

As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operation of the venue. You will lead a diverse team across all departments, ensuring exceptional service standards, strong financial performance, and a positive workplace culture.

Your leadership will be instrumental in driving guest satisfaction, developing team capability, and identifying opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all venue operations, including bar, bistro, functions, and accommodation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing hospitality team.
- Drive exceptional customer service and guest experiences.
- Manage venue financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and legislative requirements.
- Manage staffing levels, rostering, recruitment, and employee development.
- Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community.




- Monitor stock control procedures and venue presentation standards.
- Deliver operational excellence across all areas of the business.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience as a Hotel Manager, Venue Manager, General Manager, or senior hospitality leader.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing budgets and venue performance.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Strong understanding of gaming, food and beverage, and hotel operations.
- Ability to work autonomously and make effective business decisions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A hands-on management style and passion for hospitality.
- Experience driving team culture and business growth.

Mandatory Qualifications

- Current QLD RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- Current RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues)
- Approved Manager's Licence

Candidates who do not currently hold all required qualifications must be willing and able to obtain them prior to commencement.
