Partner with Leaders. Navigate Complexity. Make a Difference.

This is an HRBP role for someone who understands complex, frontline environments.

You’ll partner with leaders across a large and diverse workforce, working through everything from performance and workplace issues to organisational change, workforce planning and industrial relations.

We’re looking for someone with strong industry experience. Disability, aged care, healthcare, community services, early childhood, government or another highly regulated, operational environment will be highly regarded.

If you’re comfortable with complexity, confident advising leaders and enjoy being close to the business, you’ll feel right at home.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Partner with leaders on employee relations, industrial relations, performance and workplace matters.
- Navigate complex cases including grievances, misconduct and investigations.
- Support workforce change, restructures, planning and succession.
- Interpret legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and HR policy.
- Coach leaders to confidently manage their people.
- Use workforce insights to identify issues and support better decisions.

About You

You’re an experienced HR Business Partner who understands that HR in a frontline community services environment is fast-moving, practical and rarely straightforward.

You’ll bring:

- HR partnering experience within community services or a comparable operational industry.
- Experience across disability, aged care, healthcare, community services, early childhood, government or another highly regulated sector.
- Strong employee and industrial relations capability, ideally within a unionised workforce.
- Experience managing complex performance, misconduct, grievance and change matters.
- Confidence interpreting awards, enterprise agreements and employment legislation.
- The ability to build credibility quickly and provide practical, commercially balanced advice.

- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline.
