The Construction Engineer will:

- Manage the delivery of Council’s annual works programs for transport, stormwater, and Council gravel pits.
- Deliver ordered work packages for bridges, wharves, jetties, boat ramps, other marine infrastructure.
- Ensure the activities associated with delivering the above programs are undertaken in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner, with the customer front of mind.
- Manage and supervise staff to achieve the above, following the council’s values and code of conduct, and in compliance with workplace health and safety legislation.
- Lead business improvement and people management for the area of responsibility.

Essential Requirements

- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent combined with demonstrated relevant experience.
- Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence (or another State equivalent).
- General Construction Induction Card (white card)
