After our success in New Zealand, we're expanding rapidly across Australia, and we're looking for an outstanding General Manager to lead our Australian team.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Executive Team, you'll own the leadership, performance and execution of Robomate's Australian business. This is a hands-on role with full local P&L; responsibility and oversight of sales, customer experience and all local operations.
Your job is to turn strategy into results, build exceptional teams, and grow the business without losing the culture that makes Robomate unique. One day you'll be reviewing the P&L; with the Executive Team. The next, you'll be stepping in on a customer escalation or helping launch a new region.

What you'll do

- Drive execution: Deliver the Australian business plan, setting clear priorities and measurable goals for every team.
- Own the numbers: Take accountability for revenue, margin, costs and profitability, including budgets, forecasts and commercial terms.
- Grow sales: Lead the sales function, open new channels and partnerships, and support regional launches.
- Lead our people: Build, coach and inspire an elite leadership team, and recruit the key roles that will power our growth.
- Deliver people-first experiences: Make sure every customer has an outstanding experience, from first enquiry through installation, service and support.
- Scale the business: Oversee installation, service, warehouse and Head Office operations, lead geographic expansion, and build systems that stay ahead of growth.
- Create accountability: Run a simple, disciplined operating rhythm that keeps everyone focused and surfaces problems early, without the bureaucracy.
- Build key partnerships: Work closely with our manufacturing partner Mammotion, our NZ team and our commercial partners.

About You




We're looking for an exceptional leader who combines strong commercial judgement with care for people. You'll bring:

- Proven leadership experience in a rapid-growth company, ideally as a General Manager, Country Manager or similar.
- A track record of P&L; ownership and delivering revenue and profit growth.
- Experience leading sales, customer experience and operations teams, ideally across multiple locations.
- Robust people leadership and the ability to build and keep outstanding teams.
- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.
- Excellent commercial acumen, decision-making and operational discipline.
- High levels of integrity, humility, accountability and emotional intelligence.

Experience in consumer technology, robotics, outdoor power equipment, home services or field service businesses is a bonus, but not essential.
