Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales & Customer Service Coordinator to join their Bendigo team. Working alongside a close-knit team of five, you'll play a key role supporting the Account Manager and ensuring customers receive exceptional, timely service from enquiry through to delivery.

About the Role

As the Internal Sales & Customer Service Coordinator, you will act as a key point of contact for customers and support the Account Manager while they are on the road. You'll coordinate quotations, customer orders, inventory enquiries, backorders and delivery updates while working closely with purchasing, warehouse and dispatch teams.

You will be responsible for:

- Managing customer enquiries via phone and email

- Preparing and following up quotations

- Processing customer orders and maintaining accurate records

- Coordinating samples, deliveries and customer requirements





- Monitoring stock availability and liaising with procurement and purchasing teams

- Following up on backorders and maintaining current delivery schedules

- Providing proactive updates to customers regarding order status and delivery changes

- Maintaining accurate information within Fishbowl inventory software

- Producing reports and ensuring data integrity across systems

About You

We're looking for someone who thrives in a busy environment and genuinely enjoys helping customers.

You will ideally have:

- Experience in an Internal Sales, Customer Service, Sales Support or Order Processing role

- Experience using an inventory management, ERP or order management system (Fishbowl experience highly regarded)

- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook

- Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail

- Outstanding customer service and communication skills

- The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

- The ability to work with large product catalogues

- Experience liaising with procurement, purchasing or supply chain teams

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and following up outstanding actions

- A flexible and adaptable attitude

- A commitment to being a positive team player

Highly Regarded Experience

- Parts Interpreter background

- Industrial, mining, trade supply, wholesale or distribution industry experience

- Inventory control and stock management experience

- Experience working with large product databases and SKU catalogues

Requirements

- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)

- Full working rights in Australia

- Solid attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
