Logistics Coordinator –Play Your Way into a Career That Moves

- Paid training towards a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations

- Work with a global leader in playgrounds, fitness and play

- Real variety: freight, customs, suppliers and project teams

Let’s Play (and keep the freight moving!)

Ever wondered where the world’s best playgrounds come from, and how they get from a design table in Denmark to a park near you? Meet your next job.

Bramwell Partners is recruiting on behalf of our client, KOMPAN Australia, a global leader in creating playgrounds and outdoor fitness spaces that build happier, healthier communities. Since 1970, KOMPAN has believed that play makes the world a better place, and right now they need a Logistics Coordinator to keep that play arriving on time.

The gig

You’ll be the glue between KOMPAN’s sales and project teams, from the first quote to the last delivery. One day you’re pricing up an international air or sea shipment, the next you’re tracking a container, chatting with a supplier, and making sure a playground lands exactly when the Project Manager promised.

What you’ll get stuck into

- Sourcing local and international freight quotes (air and sea)

- Tracking and tracing shipments, and keeping Navision up to date with shipping dates

- Working with Project Managers, local suppliers and KOMPAN’s international teams

- Preparing the documents that get goods through Australian customs

- Receiving purchase orders and keeping inventory accurate

- Managing the incoming and outgoing logistics schedule

- Backing up the Storeman and supporting the wider Sales Support team

Who we’re looking for

You’ve got a couple of years’ logistics or customer service experience (2+ years) and you’re ready to level up into logistics. You’re the person who:

- Is a clear,

friendly communicator who stays calm when deadlines get exciting

- Has an eagle eye for detail and gets a kick out of getting things right

- Is comfortable with Outlook, Office 365 and a CRM (Navision experience is a bonus, and we’ll teach you the rest)

- Works well on your own and in a team, and happily goes the extra mile

- Has a general understanding of international shipping or project coordination (or a real hunger to learn)

- Holds a forklift licence (LF), or is keen to get one

Logistics, warehousing or supply chain experience will help, but it’s not essential. Great attitude and great service skills count for a lot.

Why you’ll love it at KOMPAN

KOMPAN lives by four values: Passion, People, Progress and Performance. In practice, that looks like:

- Passion: Care about your work and bring energy to every challenge

- People: Real teamwork, with open, informal and down-to-earth leaders

- Progress: A team that never settles and is always looking for a better way

- Performance: Do excellent work and see the results out in the real world

And you’ll see the impact: your work ends up in playgrounds and communities across Australia.

What’s on offer

- $65,000 base salary + superannuation

- Full-time, permanent role (following a six-month probationary period), Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

- Full training and ongoing support towards a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations

- Based in Zillmere, Brisbane North, right near Zillmere train station
