The Fyansford Hotel is looking for an experienced Full-Time Duty Manager with energy, personality and the skills to run a great shift.

We’ve got a bustling Bistro, Sports Bar, Gaming Room, TAB and function spaces - and we’re gearing up for a major expansion early next year. Think an expanded gaming room with 68 EGMs, another 150 bistro seats and versatile new function and dining spaces, with bistro trade set to reach 4,000+ covers a week, all year round.

We’re growing our management team now so we’re ready to hit the ground running.

The job

Working alongside our Venue Manager and Assistant Manager, you’ll be right amongst it: leading the team, looking after customers and keeping service moving across the hotel.

On any given shift, you’ll be:

· Running service across the bistro, bars, gaming, TAB and functions.

· Getting the best out of the team through clear direction, training and support.

· Making customers feel welcome and sorting out issues as they arise.

· Keeping an eye on staffing, stock and labour costs.





· Making sure presentation, cleanliness and compliance are up to scratch.

You’ll fit right in if you…

· Have experience leading a team in a busy hospitality venue.

· Bring energy to a shift and stay calm when the orders keep coming.

· Pitch in wherever you’re needed and lead by example.

· Can have a laugh while making sure the job gets done properly.

· Spot what needs doing and get on with it.

· Are available for nights, weekends and public holidays.

· Hold current RSA and RSG qualifications. Gaming and TAB experience will be highly regarded.
