An established and successful business based in Wangara is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Credit & Collections Officer to join their team for an immediate start.
This is a hands-on role offering a variety of responsibilities across accounts receivable, collections, payment allocations, reconciliations and account enquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and follow up outstanding payments
- Conduct collection calls and negotiate payment arrangements
- Process banking, receipting and allocation of payments
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Set up new customer accounts and conduct credit checks
- Resolve billing enquiries and payment disputes
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve account issues
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely account follow-up
About You
- Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Collections
- Confident managing overdue accounts and collection calls
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Valuable working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Available to commence immediately
