Eden Ritchie Recruitment are seeking an experienced AO4 Finance Officer to provide financial and administrative support within a Queensland public sector environment.

This position will support the delivery of accurate and timely financial services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and financial data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Undertake monthly reconciliations and assist with financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare, review and analyse financial data for entry into financial management information systems (FMIS).
- Perform administrative duties in accordance with financial policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Respond to financial enquiries, providing professional customer service and escalating complex matters where required.
- Support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and meeting operational deadlines.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reconciliations.




- Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience using financial management systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to analyse financial information with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Highly Desirable:

- Previous experience in a Queensland Government or public sector finance environment.
- Familiarity with government financial policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
- Experience using financial management information systems.
