NORTHSIX is partnering with a well established business with a small depot and customer facing retail site in Toowoomba.
The Depot Supervisor is responsible for the day to day running of the depot, working closely with and reporting to the Depot Operations Manager.
This role suits a Supervisor or Leader from transport, logistics, warehousing or a similar industrial services background. It is also a excellent fit for someone ready to step up into their first supervisor role.
The successful candidate will complete two weeks of training at the Brisbane depot before commencing in the role, with travel, accommodation and expenses paid.
The role
- Lead and support a small team of three drivers, keeping deliveries compliant and on schedule
- Oversee the daily running of the depot, including stock levels, equipment checks and site presentation
- Manage face to face customer service at the retail site
- Process manual orders and coordinate delivery scheduling in line with safety and compliance requirements
- Support the team across the site as needed
- Handle general depot administration and reporting
About you
- Experience supervising or leading a team, or ready to step up from a coordinator or 2IC role
- Background in transport, logistics, warehousing or similar industrial services
- Confident with administration and order processing
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organised, practical and comfortable running a site day to day
- Comfortable working in a small team and depot
Benefits
- $80,000 to $90,000 plus super, with additional incentives
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
