Welfare Recruitment Solutions are working with a well regarded NFP organisation to assist in the recruitment of a Group Facilitator to deliver groups workshops and training in a community setting.

Role

In this role you will facilitate training and group sessions aimed at educating adults and aiming to prevent domestic, family and sexual violence. You will also take part in community engagement, building relationships with community partners, local government and other relevant organisations.

Requirements

- Previous experience facilitating groups in the human services space. This may include, family support, DFSV, mental health or other related field




- Demonstrated excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Experience working in an environment where disclosures regarding sensitive issues such as sexual violence and child protection issues.
- Ability to travel regularly across NSW including occasional overnight stays
- Qualifications in early childhood, social work, psychology or counselling.
