This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Lead Mechanical Engineer and key stakeholders in unique and innovative engineering projects associated with laboratory, batch and pilot plant, operations and engineering studies.
The position is based in the company’s Welshpool office working Monday to Friday, allowing for greater collaboration with the engineering and maintenance teams.
Key accountabilities include:
- Engineering design including calculation, layouts, equipment sizing and fabrication details
- Prepare mechanical deliveries for scoping, PFS and DFS studies
- Interpretation of PFDs, P&IDs; and Gas in consultation with the engineering team
- Providing technical input to the Maintenance team.
To be successful in this role you will possess a mechanical engineering degree, with a solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and problem-solving methodologies. Exposure to processing, metallurgy, pilot plant or comparable industrial environments is also required.
