Sunshine Beach Surfclub restaurant is seeking a talented Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual basis. Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the restaurant's standards and specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated cooking station and equipment
- Follow health and safety protocols and food handling procedures at all times
- Respond to customer orders promptly and adapt to changing service demands
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our restaurant's high standards
- Assist with food storage, inventory management, and restocking of kitchen supplies
What we're looking for
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining quality standards during peak service times
- Robust teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Attention to detail with a commitment to food presentation and customer satisfaction
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification is desirable
