An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join a growing organisation in a newly created position.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, providing financial insights and commercial support to drive business performance. You will take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while partnering across several key business areas to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will join a collaborative finance team, with the opportunity to shape the role, enhance existing processes and take on increased responsibility as the business evolves.

Key Responsibilities

- Build solid relationships with senior stakeholders, providing financial guidance and commercial insights.
- Manage monthly management reporting, including financial performance analysis and variance commentary.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Oversee project accounting, revenue recognition, deferred revenue and work-in-progress.
- Monitor financial performance, ensuring accurate revenue reporting and timely invoicing.
- Assist with financial modelling, pricing analysis and reconciliations.
- Present financial information in a clear and accessible way to support business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, financial controls and operational efficiency.

About You





- CA or CPA qualified, or nearing qualification, with a relevant tertiary degree.
- Experience in a Management Accountant, Project Accountant or Finance Business Partner role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge across management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Exposure to project accounting, revenue recognition, WIP and deferred revenue.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable working in a changing environment.
- Keen to develop professionally and take on broader responsibilities.
