About the role
Do you believe education and employment can transform lives?
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Employment & Education Relationship Manager to join our Lean into Learning team. In this rewarding role, you will support participants to stay engaged in education, build confidence, develop new skills, and take positive steps towards meaningful employment and independence.
Working alongside learners, training providers, employers, and community partners, you will provide personalised, learner-centred support that helps participants overcome barriers, achieve their goals, and successfully complete their vocational education and training.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the program, including participant recruitment and screening, case management, advocacy, and coordinating practical wraparound supports. Through timely intervention and strong relationship building, you will empower participants to fully engage in their studies, identify strengths, build capacity, and create pathways to employment.
About You
You bring a strong foundation of relevant qualifications or experience in student support, adult education, case management, social work, Early Childhood Education & Care or Individual Support. You have exceptional skills in building meaningful relationships and connecting with young people, adult learners and individuals from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds, including those experiencing disadvantage.
Your commitment to education and empowerment shines through in everything you do, as you actively motivate and support others to grow their capabilities and achieve positive outcomes. With knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training sector, student support, and the ACT community services landscape, you understand the complex environments in which our participants live and learn.
Your experience mentoring students or colleagues demonstrates your dedication to fostering growth and development in others.
You are highly organised, able to manage competing priorities with professionalism and a keen eye for detail. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are transparent, persuasive, and respectful, helping you advocate effectively and produce quality reports and correspondence. Technologically confident, you comfortably use tools like the Microsoft Office Suite to enhance your work, ensuring efficient administration, analysis, and presentation of information.
Above all, you are resilient, compassionate, and collaborative—someone who thrives working both independently and as part of a dynamic team. You hold essential clearances such as a Working with Vulnerable People card, a current police check, and a valid driver’s licence. If you are ready to bring your skills, heart, and professionalism to a role that truly matters—where your work empowers individuals and strengthens community connections—we would love to welcome you to our team.
