We're looking for a passionate Qualified Educator to help create fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences for children in our Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care programs. Located at Peace Lutheran College, our service provides a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, create, and thrive.

In this role you will:

- Supervise and actively engage children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities

- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children

- Deliver age-appropriate, engaging programs that support learning and development

- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and the school community

- Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality care and programs

- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment

What We’re Looking For:

- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or actively working towards one.

- A current Blue Card

- Applicants must have valid Australian working rights. Please note that LEQ is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

- Are reliable, flexible, and a positive team player

- Completed relevant Child Protection Training course (as per Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law)

- Have good communication and interpersonal skills

- A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards and the National Framework.

- Have a genuine passion for working with school‑aged children

- Certifications in First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)

- Experience in an OSHC or similar setting would be preferred however, all applicants would be considered.





- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven ability to build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.

- Willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service.

- Experience with Food Handling (desired but not essential).
