The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Welder to join our growing manufacturing team based in Tullamarine. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high‑quality work, enjoys a fast‑paced production environment, and is committed to secure and efficient manufacturing practices.
To Be Successful
Our ideal candidate will be a reliable, skilled tradesperson with strong attention to detail and the ability to:
- Interpret technical drawings and follow work plans accurately
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel
- Carry out sheet metal fabrication including cutting, folding, and assembly tasks
- Operate workshop machinery and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain consistent quality through adherence to set procedures
- Read and understand job paperwork and production schedules
- Work to timelines and maintain productivity in a manufacturing environment
- Arrive punctually and demonstrate reliability and teamwork
- Show commitment to the organisation and our clients
- Comply with all WHS and legal safety requirements
A trade qualification in Engineering – Fabrication, Sheet Metal, or equivalent (Cert III) is essential.
