Located in the heart of Roma, our well-established PCYC club is a place where people know each other by name and community connections matter. We're looking for a casual Membership and Sales Officer to support shifts across the club and help create welcoming experiences for our members and visitors.

As our Membership and Sales Officer, you'll be the friendly face and voice helping people discover everything PCYC has to offer. From following up enquiries and welcoming new members to promoting programs and services, you'll play a key role in growing the club while creating positive experiences for the people who walk through our doors.

Shifts may be available across our staffed operating hours of Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 7:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am - 12:00pm. Flexibility across these times will be highly regarded.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

- Convert enquiries into memberships through proactive follow-up, appointments and relationship building
- Connect members with programs, services and opportunities that support their goals and keep them engaged
- Deliver outstanding member service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the club

What You Bring

You'll bring the confidence to connect with people, the drive to follow through on opportunities and a genuine commitment to customer service. Whether your experience comes from fitness, retail, hospitality, recreation or another customer-facing setting, you'll know how to build relationships and create positive customer experiences.

Must Have

- Hold, or be able to obtain before commencement, a Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Consent to a National Police Check
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a customer service or sales role
- Demonstrated ability to support and successfully close a sales process
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Relevant tertiary qualification in fitness, sport and recreation or a related field
- Light rigid driver's licence or eligibility to obtain one if required
