FibreX Telecommunications is seeking a skilled and motivated Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, maintaining, and optimising our computer network and systems infrastructure to ensure reliable, secure, and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse, develop, interpret, and evaluate complex system designs, architecture specifications, data models, and diagrams for the development, configuration, and integration of computer systems.
- Research, analyse, evaluate, and monitor network infrastructure to ensure optimal network configuration and performance.
- Assess existing network operations and recommend improvements to integrated hardware, software, communication systems, and operating systems.
- Provide specialist technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues, including network emergencies.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, and administer new and upgraded networks, software applications, databases, servers, and workstations.




- Develop and implement network programming solutions to support specific business needs and operational requirements.
- Prepare and maintain network documentation, including network inventories, fault diagnosis and resolution records, system enhancements, modifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Monitor network traffic, activity, capacity, and usage to ensure network security, reliability, integrity, and optimal performance.

Skills and Qualifications

- Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of computer networking, systems administration, and network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of network hardware, software, servers, databases, and operating systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to monitor network performance and implement effective technical solutions.
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills.
