Position: Civil Engineering Technician
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum + 12% Superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full-time
Location: Sydney Metropolitan Area
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant role
Bright Balustrading - requires an Engineering Technician for ongoing construction and maintenance projects. Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing project proposals, quote and documentation.
- Estimating the material, labour and other resources costs
- Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for construction works
- Evaluating and validating construction materials’ test reports
- Organizing and supervising work activities
- Interpreting work assignment instructions,
applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment
- Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations
- Examining construction project sites and arranging installation , maintenance and repair work and ensuring they are within specifications.
- Assessing actual material costs against the tender cost during the project construction phase.
The applicant must have.
- Minimum qualification: Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of
Work experience in similar role
- Sound discipline and effective communication skills
- Skilled attitude and sound construction industry knowledge
- Willing to travel at different work sites or daily or regular basis
Annual Salary $90K to 110K plus Superannuation
