Bureau of Meteorology seeks an enthusiastic Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation technician or engineer for a remote posting on Willis Island for about 6 months. Departures from Cairns in April 2027, with optional October 2027 deployment.

Role involves coordinating maintenance, diagnostics, fault-finding and system support for island operations, along with station duties and contributing to a positive remote-work culture in a small team.
