With a solid reputation for quality workmanship and reliable service, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our growing team.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components
- Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
- MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
- Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
- Working independently and collaboratively within a team
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking with a strong work ethic
- Adaptable and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Committed to producing high-quality workmanship
- Able to work unsupervised when required
- A positive team player with good communication skills
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous sheet metal fabrication experience
- MIG and TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Desirable:
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
