About the role

Levi Consulting is seeking commercially minded students studying a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance/Accounting) at USYD or UNSW to join our team as a Paralegal.
Ideally, you will be completing your second year of university in 2026, with graduation expected at the end of 2029. The role requires 3 days per week, with flexibility around university examinations and holidays.
You will work directly with an experienced registered liquidator, gaining practical exposure to insolvency, restructuring, commercial transactions and the realities of running a business. We offer hands-on experience, mentoring and opportunities to develop your commercial judgement, initiative and professional skills.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with insolvency appointments, including liquidations and voluntary administrations.
- Prepare reports, correspondence and documents for ASIC, the Australian Taxation Office, creditors and other stakeholders.
- Assist with insolvency investigations, business sales, asset realisations and commercial transactions.
- Assist with appointments under section 66G of the Conveyancing Act 1919 (NSW).
- Maintain insolvency files, workbooks and statutory records.
- Provide legal research and general matter support.
- Participate in structured and on-the-job training in Australian corporate insolvency with exposure to new and existing clients.

About you

You will have:





- Strong written communication, research and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Initiative, reliability and a willingness to take responsibility.
- An interest in insolvency, restructuring, commercial law, finance or litigation.
- Interests and commitments beyond university that demonstrate curiosity, character and initiative.
- Relevant work experience in a skilled-services environment or exposure to a business environment will be an advantage but is not essential.
