Because Notch are an ‘Everything Centre’ this diverse role will integrate reception, neighbourhood centre duties and current programs. You will have great work life balance as this is a part time role, including Thursday afternoon shifts.
What You Will Do:
Deliver Neighbourhood Centre programs-school holidays, community BBQs & emergency relief
Support our Community Food Programs-growing food in our community garden and rescuing/distributing food via our food tables
Community Development: Working with community creating better outcomes for all
Work shoulder to shoulder with our volunteer teams
Who We're Looking For:
Creative thinker who likes a chat
Someone who's flexible enough to support in a crisis or grow a pumpkin!
A strong communicator, both on paper and in a meeting
Qualifications & industry experience relevant to community services desired but not essential
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with vulnerable people in a professional & respectful manner
Someone who can lift (*moderately) heavy things
Blue card & ability to pass a police check
