Job Responsibilities:
- Providing in-home care and support to clients, including assistance with personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Assisting clients with mobility and transportation to appointments and outings
- Building rapport and developing relationships with clients to ensure their comfort and well-being
- Communicating regularly with clients and their families to provide updates and address any concerns
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in client's condition to the supervising nurse or case manager
Job Requirements:
- Must have a full Australian driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Valid police check and working with children check
- Previous experience in home and community care or a related field is preferred
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards clients and a commitment to providing high-quality care
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
