We are seeking a Chinese Cuisine Cook to join our cooking team focusing on preparing and cooking traditional Chinese dishes, including Cantonese and Northern Chinese cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Chinese dishes using traditional ingredients, seasonings and cooking techniques.
Prepare ingredients and maintain kitchen stations.
Ensure food quality, taste and presentation.
Follow recipes and meet customer dietary requirements.
Assist with menu planning and stock control.
Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
Assist with training kitchen staff and apprentices.
Requirements
Certificate III or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
At least one year of experience in a Chinese commercial kitchen.
Practical skills in traditional Chinese cooking.
Knowledge of Chinese ingredients, seasonings and cooking techniques.
