We’re looking for a qualified horticulturist who takes pride intheir work to join our Parks and Environment team. From garden bedsand turf to landscaped streetscapes, you’ll help care for thespaces our community enjoys every day.

The role

Reporting to the Team Leader Parks, you’ll combine hands‑on maintenance with sharing your horticultural knowledge across thecrew. Your work will include:

- Maintaining garden beds, turf and other landscapedareas;
- Helping plan daily and weekly maintenance tasks;
- Operating horticultural machinery, equipment and toolssafely; and
- Working with colleagues and contractors to identifymaintenance needs and deliver quality results.

What you’ll bring

You’ll have a Certificate III or higher inHorticulture and at least two years of recent,relevant horticultural maintenance experience .

We’re looking for someone who:

- Knows how to care for public gardens and landscapes;
- Is confident using horticultural and turf equipment;
- Works safely, communicates clearly and contributes to theteam; and
- Takes a friendly, helpful approach when dealing with thepublic.





You’ll also need a current C class driver’slicence , a Safety Awareness Training Card and the ability to carry out physical work, including walking andstanding for extended periods. An MR licence would be anadvantage.
